영국 VRS 프로그램에 대해 문의 주신 점 확인하였습니다.

아래는 문의 주신 사항에 대한 답변 드리도록 하겠습니다.

1) 예를 들어, UCL Visiting Research Students 지원 시 Research Degree 학생으로 등록되어 있다는 확인증을 제출해야 하는 것으로 보아, 연구생으로 등록되어 있다면 지원 가능한 것으로 사료됩니다.

*다른 학교 Faculty 또는 박사생으로 등록되어 있다면 Visiting Researchers 프로그램으로 지원 가능합니다.

If you are on the permanent faculty of a university from any part of the world and you wish us to consider accepting you as a visiting researcher, or if you are registered as a doctoral student in another university and wish to spend a period of time attached to UCL DIS, you should contact the Director of Research in DIS (currently Dr Andrew Flinn, a.flinn@ucl.ac.uk) informally with your academic cv and a short (one or two page) outline of your research interests, your reasons for wanting to visit DIS at UCL, the likely length and time frame of your visit and crucially how you think your research fits into our research areas.

2) 보통 컨택 메일에는 SOP (학업계획서) 처럼 과거 연구 이력 / 연구 목적 /연구 희망 분야 등을 자세하게 설명하고 + 상세한 CV 를 첨부하는 경우가 많습니다. Research Proposal, Personal Statement 등과 같은 연구 계획서는 지원서를 통해 제출하는 경우가 많습니다.

3) 컨택이 잘 되어 교수님께서 지원자에게 관심을 보이는 경우 인터뷰를 요청하는 경우도 있습니다.

4) VRS 프로그램의 경우 단기간 진행 되는 경우가 많으므로, 프로그램에 대한 Requirements 는 따로 지정되어 있지 않은 경우가 많습니다. 해당 부분은 지원 학교 및 Supervisor 와 확인해보시기 바랍니다.

5) VRS 프로그램의 경우 선발인원이 매우 적은 점 참고 부탁 드립니다.

6) 해당 부분은 UCL 학교에 직접 문의하시어 확인하시는 것을 권장 드립니다.
